Maybelline Matte Maker Powder!

 Hello everyone,
Calling all oily-skin gals', the new offering from Maybelline has quickly made it to the top of the list as my all time favourite powder.

The new Maybelline Matte Maker powder is a finely milled pressed powder that sets your makeup, giving a matte finish.
It helps to control oil on my t-zone and prolongs the longevity of my makeup. However, because it is so finely milled, it is virtually undetectable on the skin and doesn't leave your makeup looking flat or chalky.
It also gives a light finish, and the shade 'Classic Ivory' is a perfect match for my fair skin.

At £3.99, the Maybelline Matte Maker is an absolute bargain, helping to control oil for several hours without looking flat like a typical 'matte' powder.

Have you tried the new Maybelline Matte Maker powder?

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser | The Amazing All-Round Cleanser

 Hello everyone,
As someone with an oily t-zone but normal, dehydrated cheeks, I have always been on the look-out for a cleanser that fixes the oily mess that's on my face (...nice!) when I get up in the morning, but that also doesn't dry out my skin leaving it feeling tight.

This is where the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser comes in - a super gentle, creamy cleanser that cleanses my skin really well but is so gentle it doesn't leave my face feeling like it's had no moisture.
I have been using the FAB Face Cleanser for about a month now and so far I am loving the results.
Although my skin isn't completely cleared of blemishes, it certainly has improved as it feels and looks clearer. My skin no longer feels as dehydrated as it used to be, and in the morning I love how my face doesn't feel tight after cleansing. This cleanser also cleanses my skin really well so it feels clean and smooth.
In the evening this is great at removing traces of makeup and oil, like it claims, and I love how the almost mousse-like texture feels so light and airy.
I like taking a pea-sized amount, morning and night, and massaging it into my skin to remove any oil and grime.

Overall I love this cleanser as an awesome all-round cleanser as it cleanses my skin so well yet doesn't dry it out or leave it feeling tight.

I am also really interested in trying out more FAB products, particularly their Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser for a more intense cleanse in the evenings!

Essie Splash of Grenadine | The 'I-can't-stop-looking-at-my-nails' Nail Polish

 Hello everyone,
I'm super excited today to share with you my current favourite nail polish - Essie 'Splash of Grenadine'.
I spotted this nail polish after Estee was raving about it, and I am so glad I picked it up as I am in love with it.

Splash of Grenadine is a beautiful yet quite a unique colour. I describe it has a violet/pink shade that is super bright and fun for Spring and Summer. I adore it!
The formula is also amazing. I love Essie nail polishes anyway as the wide brush makes painting your nails quick and easy. The formula is really good as it is very opaque and dries quickly. I am also onto my 4th day and there is not a chip in sight.

Overall I am so in love with Essie Splash of Grenadine as it is a super bright and fun colour for Spring and Summer and it has an awesome formula.

It is definitely one of those shades that make me stare at my nails, lusting over the colour!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation!

 Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to share with you the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation, what a mouthful!
I had been wanting to try some Tarte products for the longest time, and after hearing Estee from EssieButton rave about this product, I decided to give it a try when I ordered a couple of products from Sephora as they began to ship to the UK.
Although I had never been into powder foundations, I wanted to give this a whirl as I thought it would be perfect for my 'no makeup' makeup days.
Firstly, I have to talk about the packaging. I love it!
I particularly love the bamboo lid and sifter that keeps the product from going everywhere, it allows you to simply push your brush into the sifter and then apply it to your face - super easy and super quick.
I ordered the shade 'Fair Honey' which is the lightest shade and a perfect match for my fair skin.
I like to use concealer under my eyes, around my nose and on any blemishes before I apply this foundation as I find the foundation then sets any concealer that I have already applied.
I love applying this foundation with the Real Techniques Buffing brush as it quickly buffs the product into the skin with no mess.
I find this foundation gives a medium coverage which I think is amazing for a powder foundation. It helps even out my skintone and reduce the look of imperfections and redness.
It feels very comfortable on the skin and it is quite moisturising and so it glides over any dry patches. I love how natural it looks on the skin as if you're not wearing any foundation at all.
I find it lasts well throughout the day, but I do get slightly oily on my t-zone but that is nothing a blotting sheet can't fix.

Overall I love this foundation for a 'no makeup' makeup look or if I want a break from liquid foundation. I love the coverage it provides whilst still feeling and looking super light and natural. The shade is also a perfect match for my skin and I find it lasts well throughout the day.

Let me know if you have tried the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation and what you think of it!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer | The Radiance-Boosting Concealer

 Hello everyone,
Happy Friday!
Today I wanted to talk about the L'Oreal Lumi Magique concealer. I love the Lumi Magique foundation that is from the same line and so when I saw the concealer I thought I would give it a try.

The first thing I love about this concealer is the packaging. A gorgeous rose gold tube with a 'click-pen' style applicator that makes applying the concealer super easy.
I got the lightest shade which is 'Light 1' and I find this to be the perfect shade to help highlight the high points on my face. I love using this under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose and in between my eyebrows to help add light to my face.
For under the eyes I find alone this gives quite a light coverage and so doesn't completely hide my dark circles. However, this is nice for 'no makeup' makeup days.
Usually though I apply it over the Bobbi Brown corrector as this helps to really brighten my under eye circles and make me appear much more 'awake'.
I love how blendable and natural this concealer is, and I find it isn't heavy or cakey at all.
I find I do have to set this concealer with powder to prevent it creasing, and I also find this helps make the concealer last all day.

Overall I love this concealer for a natural and light highlighter, and over the top of the Bobbi Brown corrector it is great at brightening my under eye dark circles.

Let me know if you have tried the L'Oreal Lumi Magique concealer!
