My Spring Outfit | Pastel Pink and Floral

Hello everyone,
Over the last few days my mum and I decided to take a short trip to London to treat ourselves and get our wardrobes Spring-ready. As I purchased a few items that I cannot wait to wear throughout Spring, I thought I would share with you an OOTD where I wore a couple of the new items.
It was still pretty cold in London which was why I needed my trusty jacket from Topshop. I love this as it goes with anything and keeps me nice and warm.
When I was in London I had a bit of a thing for pastel pink, with the majoirty of the things I bought being pastel pink. I fell in love with this baby pink scarf that has a grey bird pattern on it from New Look as I thought it would brighten up an outfit and keep me warm during the windy weather.
I wore a new black and white floral dress from Forever 21. It is quite loose fitting which I love for everyday wear. I then paired that with my Primark Super Cosy tights that are so cosy and warm, and my new black cut-out Office boots that I am in love with.
I also wanted to use my new pastel pink bag from Zara. It is the perfect size for keeping your everday items in, and of course I love the pastel pink colour.

So that was my easy Spring-ready outfit that I wore in London. I am sorry I couldn't get better pictures of the outfit but it was just so cold and windy I couldn't bare to be without my jacket and scarf.

I hope you enjoyed this post and maybe got inspired for Spring.

Thank you,

Evening Makeup #2 | The Smokey Eye and Pink Lip

 Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to share with you an evening makeup look that involves a a smokey eye and pink lip. I thought it was perfect for this time of year as the pink lips brighten up the makeup and outfit and I also love it as it reminds me of Spring which is my favourite time of year.
Like always I used my L'Oreal Lumi Magique foundation to even out my skin and cover any blemishes and discolouration. I then used my NARS Radiant Creamy concealer underneath my eyes to cover my dark circles. I then set the base with the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot powder.
For my eyes I wanted something quite shimmery and golden but then also smokey in the crease. To achieve this, I swept the Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadow in 'Champagne Quartz' all over my lid for that golden shimmer, and I then took the shade Mekong, a chocolate brown shade with an almost plum undertone and golden shimmer from the NARSissist palette in my crease to smoke the look up. I then took Mekong again on my lower lash line to further smoke out the look.
For mascara I used the mini Smashbox Full Exposure mascara which gives great length and volume to my lashes.
To finish off the skin I used the NARS Laguna Bronzer from the Guy Bourdin Crime of Passion Eye Cheek and Lip palette to warm up my skin. From the same palette I took the NARS Deep Throat blush to add a peachy pink flush to my cheeks. For highlighter, I added the Mac Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter in Whisper of Gilt to my cheekbones for that extra glow.
Lastly I finished off the look by using Mac Fanfare lipstick. A beautiful mid toned pink that adds a pop of colour to any look.

So that is my evening, going out makeup look. I personally love the smoked out eyes and brighter lip, and think this look would suit anyone.

I hope you liked the makeup look and found this post helpful!

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara!

 Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to talk about the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara which came as a mini bonus product in the Smashbox Full Exposure palette. I was really excited to try this mascara out as I am always on the hunt for that perfect mascara.

The brush is a standard shape but as it is so big it can make applying the mascara quite the task. However I do find it easily covers my lashes which makes applying the mascara quick work.
This mascara gives a pretty natural look to the lashes. It makes your lashes quite fluttery and wispy as it is lengthening and volumising. I love how it is not clumpy and it doesn't leave your lashes looking spidery, just very pretty for a day time look.
I love this for a daytime mascara as it is natural yet lengthens and thickens my lashes so they are more defined.
The formula of the mascara is good but I do find it to be quite dry which means it does take a bit of time to build up your lashes. However, I do find it to last really well throughout the day and is easy to take off at night.

Overall I really do like this mascara as it naturally lengthens and thickens my lashes. Although it can be tricky to apply because of the large brush, I personally love the finished result.

Let me know if you have tried the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara!

Smashbox Full Exposure Palette!

 Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to talk about the newly released Smashbox Full Exposure Palette, a gorgeous neutrals eyeshadow palette that would be perfect for eyeshadow newbies as it has everything you really need.
Top Row L to R: S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7.
Bottom Row L to R: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7.
The palette comes with 14 eyeshadows, 7 shimmer and 7 matte. The shimmer eyeshadows are on the top row and the matte eyeshadows are along the bottom row. None of shadows have proper names, they are just numbered 1-7 with either S which stands for shimmer, or M which stands for matte.
The palette comes with an amazing dual ended brush, which has a tapered fluffy end which is amazing for blending into the crease, and a shorter dense brush which is great for packing on the shadows. The palette also comes with a mini Full Exposure mascara which is really good, however I will do a full review on that separately.

 Top Row L to R: S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7
Bottom Row L to R: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7
The eyeshadows range from warm toned on the left side to cool toned on the right side, which I love as it means you can create different looks depending if you want a warmer toned look or cooler toned look.
All of the eyeshadows are pigmented and blend really nicely. The matte shades I particularly lovely as they are creamy and blendable and very pigmented. I personally love the shimmer shadows, however, they are more glittery than shimmery. They aren't quite as creamy or pigmented compared to the matte shadows, but they are still beautiful none the less.
I love how they are all so wearable, and I like how there is a matte eyeshadow that matches a shimmer eyeshadow as it makes creating a pretty look really easy.
I probably couldn't pick a favourite shade as I think they are all gorgeous. However, I do love the cool toned shadows in particular as I personally find them really easy to wear.
The longevity of the shadows I think is really good. On me they last about 6 hours before beginning to fade and crease.

Overall I love this palette. All of the eyeshadows are gorgeous and great quality, and I also love how the palette comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush and a mini mascara.
I think it is great value at £36 as it is so versatile and you can create so many different looks out of it.

Mac Fanfare Lipstick | My New Obsession

Hello everyone,
Mac lipsticks are some of my favourite lipsticks and so when I received Fanfare for my birthday, I was very excited to try it out.

Fanfare is a beautiful rosy mid toned pink, which I think would suit so many skintones as it is not too light or dark. I personally love it as I find it to be a really easy pink to wear as it isn't too dark or too bright. It sits somewhere in the middle which I love.
Fanfare has a cremesheen finish which again is one of my favourite finishes from Mac as it has a gorgeous glossy finish and creamy texture. I also find it to be moisturising and lasts a good few hours throughout the day.

Overall I love this lipstick and it has quickly risen to be amongst some of my favourite lipsticks.
It is such an easy, everyday colour and I find the formula to also be amazing.

Let me know if you have tried Mac Fanfare lipstick!

OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know!

 Hello everyone,
Happy Sunday!
Today I wanted to share with you the OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know nail polish.
I got this for my birthday from one of my friends, which I was very excited for as it isn't a colour I would usually pick up. However, I was really excited to give it a go and see what I thought of it.
The shade Wooden Shoe Like to Know is a mauve brown with a slight plum undertone. It has a very subtle shimmer running through it which I also really like.
As with all OPI nail polishes the quality is amazing. I found it really it easy to apply and quick drying.
I personally really like this shade as it is quite different but perfect for Autumn and Winter.
I also think it would suit many different skintones as it is such an easy colour to wear.
