Benefit They're Real Mascara!

Hello everyone,
Hope you're all well!
If you saw my post of the June issue of Ella magazine, you will have seen in the issue came a free mini sized Benefit They're Real mascara.
I had seen so much hype on this mascara and so was very excited to try it out, especially as I had always been put off by the full sized £19.50 price tag.
The wand itself is plastic and has short bristles with an almost 'spiky' end which is really handy for getting to your bottom lashes and outer corner lashes. The colour is a very pigmented black but doesn't look too harsh against my fair skin.

Benefit make a number of claims about this mascara. They say:
94% saw dramatic length & volume
90% saw base-to-tip curl
94% saw visible lift
100% saw long-wearing results

After using this mascara for about a week, I am very happy to say I agree with all of their claims.
I find that the mascara gives amazing volume and length at the same time, whilst also giving a slight curl and lift like Benefit claim. I also find the mascara to be very long lasting, maybe even too long lasting because I do find it extremely hard to get off at night. It even takes my trusty Bioderma several swipes before most of it is off.
I can also find the mascara can make my lashes look a bit spidery if I am not careful, so it does take a while to get used to applying it.

Overall though I am very pleased with the results. It takes such little effort with this mascara to create amazing volume and length, which is what I love in a mascara. Aside from the difficulty to get off and now and then spidery effect it can give your lashes, I still love this mascara.
At £19.50 I am not sure I will re-purchase it straight away, but I will definitely bare it in mind as it is one of the best mascaras I have used.

Have you tried the Benefit They're Real mascara?

OPI Mini Euro Centrale Collection in 'Suzi's Hungary Again!'

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all well!
Today I wanted to share with you the last OPI nail polish from my mini Euro Centrale Collection in 'Suzi's Hungary Again!'.
If you have seen my previous posts on the other 3 colours in the mini collection, you will know just how much I love these colours. They all scream Summer and are so gorgeous.

The colour 'Suzi's Hungary Again!' is a bright, almost neon, pink with no shimmer. I usually would be a bit scared to wear such a bright colour, but I cannot help but love this shade. It is stunning. It is beyond perfect for Spring and Summer, and I think with a slight tan it would look amazing. I also though don't find it too harsh or bright against my fair skin.
Formula wise I think this is slightly more opaque than the lilac shade 'You're such a BudaPest', but you do still need 2 coats to get it completely opaque. In the picture above I didn't use a top coat, but you can still see its finish gives quite a nice shine.
So far it hasn't chipped and that's after 2 days, so hopefully it will keep going a tad longer.

Although I love every colour out of my mini collection, this may slip into being my favourite.

Have you tried any of the OPI Euro Centrale Collection nail polishes?

Ella Magazine Freebie June 2013!

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all well!
I know I am a little late in this post but earlier today I decided to take a break from the endless hours of revising and treat myself to the June issue of Elle magazine.
The main reason why I bought this (despite the really good Elle magazine) was because they were offering a mini Benefit They're Real Mascara.
I have seen this product hyped up so much and really wanted to try it, and when my lovely friend Ella from Ellanutellax bought this, I knew I had to have it too!

I am really excited to try it and I will definitely do a full review once I have used it!
The Elle magazine is £4 which I do think is on the pricer side, but considering you get a mini Benefit mascara which alone costs £9.50, I really do think it is a great deal.

Let me know if you've picked up the Elle magazine too!

The Liebster Award!

Hello Everyone,
Today I have got quite a different post. I was tagged by the beautiful Hannah from B.L.A.B to do the Liebster Award. She has an amazing blog which I really do love reading, so thank you so much Hannah for nominating me!

The rules are you must answer the 11 questions by the blogger who nominated you, then say 11 random facts about yourself. After that you should tag other blogs (with less than 300 followers) and ask them 11 questions.

The Questions from Hannah

1. What is your favourite lip product?
That is pretty hard but I would say my Revlon Lip Butter in 'Juicy Papaya' as it is really moisturising and a really lovely colour for Spring and Summer.

2. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?
Probably California. I would love to visit LA, San Francisco and San Diego and places as the weather always looks beautiful, the shopping looks amazing and the sites look incredible.

3. Why did you start a blog?
I started my blog because I was inspired by many of the youtubers like Tanya Burr, Zoella and Sammi and I also just really wanted to share my love for beauty and fashion. I one day hope I can inspire just one person like many of the youtubers and bloggers did for me :)

4. What is your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Shopping. You can't beat a good day of retail therapy.

5. If you could only use one item of make up for the rest of your life what would it be?
That is such a hard question. But because I look really ill and tired without concealer under my eyes it would definitely be concealer.

6. What is your favourite season and why?
If we had a nice, warm Summer then it would be Summer, but unfortunately we don't. For that reason my favourite season is either Autumn or Spring because as Autumn comes around I am getting bored of the long days and general Summeryness (sorry I know that is not a word!), but then when Spring comes around I am sick of the cold, dark and miserable days of Winter.

7. If you could be an animal what would you be?
Probably a cat, because I love them and most just seem to eat and sleep which sounds like quite a nice life :)

8. What's your favourite brand of nail polish?
I love Essie, but I would probably say my favourtie is OPI because the quality is so good.

9. Where's your favourite place to eat?
I love food so much and am constantly eating and so I love going out to either Chinese restaurants or Italians :)

10. Sunny days or rainy days?
100% sunny. Everybody just seems so much more happier when it is sunny.

11. What is your dream job?
It would be working in the fashion or beauty industry either as a journalist, in marketing or PR or merchandising. Just general media things but based around beauty or fashion :)

 11 Things About Me
I cannot wait until the Summer

I love eating
Some of my favourites shows are Casulty, Holby City and Waterloo Road
But despite some of my favourites shows I still hate hospitals
I think I could be addicted to shopping
I love warm weather
I have a Persian cat and a rabbit, and I love them both so much :)
I love baking any type of cakes or sweet treats
I went to France for the first time this year
I do not participate in any type of sport, even though I probably should
I have never been to IKEA (am I missing out?)

My 11 Questions
1. How long do you typically take getting ready in the morning?
2. What is you favourite type of Youtube video to watch and/or blog post to read?
3. What is a holy grail product of yours?
4. What is your favourite TV show?
5. What was the last film you went to see at the cinema?
6. What is your favourite makeup brand?
7. What is your least favourite food?
8. Describe yourself in 3 words
9. At what age did you first start wearing makeup?
10. What was the last makeup/clothing item you bought?
11. What is you favourite highstreet/drugstore foundation, and what is your favourite high end foundation?

Bloggers Who I Tag
Ellanutellax
Daisie Petals
Skin Perfecting
To Be Confirmed

There are so many blogs which I love and of course I would love to tag everyone, however these blogs I think are really good and deserve a lot of recognition :)

I really hope you enjoyed this slightly different post today.

OPI Mini Euro Centrale Collection in 'You're Such a Budapest'

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all well!
Today I wanted to share with you a nail polish I have been loving recently. It is the colour 'You're such a Budapest' which was from the OPI Mini Euro Centrale Collection which I got from Sephora whilst in Paris.
I was drawn to this beautiful pastel lilac colour as I though for Spring and Summer it would be perfect.
The colour is described as a 'periwinkle purple' which I would agree with. It has no shimmer but I do think it is so pretty and feminine, and would suit many skin tones.
Like all OPI nail polishes the quality is lovely - it applies really nicely and is quick to dry. It is though a very sheer colour. I only used 2 coats but I think 3 would have given a completely opaque colour.

On the whole I do love this colour and the whole collection. They're lovely for Spring and Summer and very feminine and pretty. I have also done a post on the colours
'Can't Find My Czechbook' and 'OY-Another Polish Joke!', and so if you want to see that please click HERE!

Have you tried any of the OPI Euro Centrale Collection?

Bioderma Crealine H2O!

Hello Everyone,
Happy Friday!
Today I want to talk to you about Bioderma. This is a very hyped up product, and so when I went to Paris I knew I had to lay my hands on it. I picked up the mini travel size version first to see if I liked it, but then the the day after I went straight pack to the pharmacy to get the double pack - so as you can tell I instantly fell in love with this product.

I have been using it to remove my make up every night since I bought it as it is amazing.
It pretty much removes every trace of makeup, but without being too harsh. It leaves your skin feeling very fresh and clean which is really nice, especially if you have oily skin like myself.
Although it does remove my makeup very well, I do still do my normal cleansing routine of washing my face with my No7 Foaming Cleanser, just to make sure I remove every last bit of makeup.

There really isn't that much else to say about this product, other than it is so
such a good makeup remover and I really would recommend it to anyone.
I know that recently Bioderma was released in the UK, but I think at the moment it is only available online. But, if you can get your hands of this product I would highly recommend it.

Have you tried Bioderma?
If so please leave a comment telling me what you think of it!

So I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful. Please leave a comment down below as I love hearing what you guys think! As I said in my previous post, due to my exams rapidly approaching there will be fewer posts as I take time out for revision so I do apologize for that.

April Favourites!

Hello Everyone,
Hope you're all well!
So we are already into May. Where has the year gone?
I know that I say this every time the monthly favourites post comes around, but this time I really do not know where April went!
But despite that, today I am still super excited to share with you my April favourites. There were quite a lot of products I have enjoyed over this month, but these 4 products were probably my favourite that I used.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I picked this up whilst the 3 for 2 was on at Boots. I had never intended on purchasing this brush, but as I am sure you all know, I am a massive fan of Real Techniques and so I thought I might as well add to the collection. The brush itself though is amazing. I love the shape of it and how it fits into those 'hard-to-reach' areas. The quality is incredible like all Real Techniques brushes, and on the whole is does a beautiful job of applying foundation.
If you want even more details about this brush, I did a full review HERE.

Make Up Forever HD Concealer in '305 Porcelain'
I picked this up whilst in Paris and have loved using it. It has a lovely texture and blends really well. It covers dark circles and imperfections, and the shade is great for very fair skin. It lasts all day, and to be honest I can't really say a bad thing about it (review HERE).

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfecter in '01 Rose Shimmer'
This hybrid between a lip balm and lip gloss is amazing. I love it so much and really want to get more of their colours. It does a great job of moisturising your lips whilst also adding a nice glossy finish (review HERE).

Bioderma
This is the little mini version of Bioderma that I picked up whilst in Paris. I had heard countless people rave about this product, and I am glad to say this lived up to the hype. It removes pretty much all traces of make up without being too harsh, and I love the fresh feeling it leaves my skin. It is love!

So they are my April favourites,
please let me know what your favourites are this month too!

I  also want to quickly mention with the exam season less than 2 weeks away there will be fewer posts as my priority will be revising for my exams. However, I am aiming to post about once a week and at the end of June I will be back with I am sure a list of posts to do for you!

I really hope you enjoyed my favourites this month. Please leave a comment down below as I love hearing what you guys think.
